Getting Started

Everyone is welcome to join or participate at Grafton Sporting Car Club.

Our club is affiliated with Motorsport Australia (formerly the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport or CAMS), granting our members access to Motorsport Australia Licences and Compliance.

Browse the options below to learn more about how to become a Social Member, sign up as a Competitor, become a Motorsport Official or gain your Speed (Racing) Licence.

Grafton Sporting Car Club offers 3 social membership options.

All memberships offer the following great value benefits:

* Eligibility for discounted vehicle registration for your historic car through the Club Historic Registration Scheme.

* Eligibility for a Speed (Racing) Licence through GSCC’s affiliation with Motorsport Australia.

* Access to Motorsport Australia Licences and Compliance.

* Exclusive 10% Club Member Discount at Westlawn Mechanical Repairs (Grafton)*.

*Discount does not apply to registration inspections.

2026 Annual Fee – $95.00 *

* All membership fees listed above include GST.

* All membership fees cover 12 months membership and all memberships are due for renewal on or before March 31st each year.

For any new membership applications received after 1st October each year, membership will not be due for renewal until 31st December the following year.

N.B. Any memberships not renewed before the due date may incur an administrative/rejoining fee of $40 upon eventual renewal.

As an affiliate of Motorsport Australia, Grafton Sporting Car Club offers access to becoming a Motorsport Official.

Signing up is simple and it’s free. By signing up, you will be able to access the training module offered on the Motorsport Australia Portal to get you started.

Your next step will then be to participate as a trainee official at a club event.

Grafton Sporting Car Club can help you gain your Speed Licence.

This will allow you to compete at pace in events such as single and multi-car Speed Events and Touring Road Events. It is for competitors, aged 14 and up, who want to explore their vehicle’s full potential and their driving ability.
