About GSCC
The Grafton Sporting Car Club had its beginning in 1955 on a section of unsealed road: climbing a steep hill on the outskirts of South Grafton, Northern NSW.

One Sunday afternoon, a group of twelve motoring enthusiasts with no experience of motor sport conducted a very basic hillclimb using a flag to signal the start, and a stopwatch at the finish for timing. This event would lead to the formation of a Sporting Car Club in Grafton on 28 June 1955.
Fast forward 70 years, and Grafton Sporting Car Club – affiliated with Motorsport Australia – now enjoys a well-deserved, established reputation for the presentation of outstanding Motorsport events: ranging from Club Level Hillclimbs to State and National Championships.
Since 1965, Grafton Sporting Car Club has owned and continues to develop their 67 hectare Mountain View Motorsport Complex which features a 968 metre challenging Hillclimb circuit. The facilities for competitors include a number of covered Pit Bays, Canteen services, toilets, and overnight camping.
