Working Bee: Sat 17th & Sun 18th Jan, 2026

We are holding a weekend at the Mountain View Motorsport Complex filled with interest and exercise – otherwise known as a fun-filled WORKING BEE! We are going to be completing the last major tyre barrier rebuild between the Tower and the Finish line.

All of the earthworks has been completed, just leaving the barrier to be rebuilt using the tyres from the old barrier and bolted tyres from the storage area:

This is the last tyre major barrier to be rebuilt to satisfy both the EPA and our own safety requirements. This essential work will greatly extend the run off area at the tower end of the bottom straight resulting in less damage to cars that don’t take the corner.

As usual we need as many hands on deck to complete this important work, and once this is finished we can get on with more interesting improvements.
